Henry Ballach – Master Craftsman

Fine German craftsmanship is a family tradition, past down for generations. I've been working in this industry for the past 25 years. I also have formal training & certification as cabinet maker and furniture builder.

Here at Westwind Woodworking, nestled in the foothills of the Rocky Mountains, I own and operate a small professional, state of the art , woodworking shop. It comes complete with professional spray booth. I also provide a 3D rendering of your new design, so you can see your project before making a final commitment.

At Westwind we also build Home theater cabinetry, Office furniture including computer desks, filing cabinets, & book shelves. From laminate counter tops to hand or machine cut dovetail joints, I have taken modern technology and blended this with old school woodworking. I use only the best product on the market and hand select all wood products. No compromise!!

My carbon foot print is dramatically reduced, not having to commute, and minimizing on travel. I also take all necessary steps to ensure I am working hard towards a greener planet in my manufacturing, minimizing waste.

Westwind Woodworking now offers Eco-friendly stain and clear coat finishes. Shopping local is very important to us. Most of the products we use are Canadian, with the exception of the European hardware and some of the exotic wood species.

Manufacturing and assembling your project in my workshop, reduces the mess, inconvenience, and time for installation in your home. Depending on the size of the project, it can take as little as one day to professionally install your new project. No fumes to live with and a complete vacuum and clean up upon completion.
