When shopping for custom cabinets, you must first start with good quality sheet goods. We use a Canadian manufactured Panolam. In my opinion Panolam is one of the best products on the market, very durable and easy to keep clean.

Proper joinery is paramount! Butt joint cabinets are not acceptable! At Westwind we construct our cabinets with the proper rabbit joints. Then glued and stapled. Ensuring the carcass remains square and true. Easily supporting solid surfaces, like granite and marble. We leave the granite, marble and other solid surfaces to the local counter top professionals. However we do manufacture a high quality laminate or wood veneer counter top. Using products like Formica, Pionte, and solid wood.

Top quality cabinet doors are manufactured in house, and in Calgary, to my specifications. I use only the best quality concealed European Blum hinges and slides, Accuride self closing slide, Blum motion dampers (E Z close) are also available. All hardware I use is lifetime guaranteed.

Superior workmanship and finish using the top quality ML. Campbell stain and lacquer, I post catalyze my lacquer to achieve a much harder and durable finish then with the more commonly used in the industry, precatalized lacquer.
